Welcome, Baby Camden!

I have gotten to know Camden's family pretty well this Spring, as I've done their maternity, birth, fresh 48, and newborn photos. I must say, she is a pretty lucky girl! Her moms are so awesome and I have loved being with them during this special time.

Camden arrived on April 11th at Novant Health NorthEast via a planned Caesarean. Both of her moms work at the hospital, so with their connections I was able to photograph her entire birth! Usually there are a lot of restrictions on photographing a C-Section, so we were super lucky that they let me in. Everything went smoothly and she came out as cute as can be! She latched on like a champ and was an immediate breastfeeding success.

A week later, I came to their house for a newborn session, and I must say my favorite shot was of her with her moms' wedding dresses. So sweet! The sad thing about doing the Total Package for a family is that you spend so much time together, it is such a bummer when it's time to say goodbye!! Looking forward to taking some updated baby portraits and family photos for them in the Fall.
